If you book after clicking one, GetYourGuide pays me a commission. You pay exactly what you would have paid going to GetYourGuide directly — the price never differs, and there is no surcharge of any kind.
How it works, plainly
I do not sell tickets and I do not take payment. The booking links and availability widgets here go to GetYourGuide, which is the licensed online travel agency the operators list with. GetYourGuide records that the booking came from this site and pays me a percentage of what the operator was already going to receive. The commission comes out of their side of the transaction, not yours.
Prices shown on this site are the USD figures GetYourGuide displayed in August 2026. They move. The widget on each page shows the live price, and the widget is the one to believe.
Whether it changes what I recommend
It does not, and there is a simple structural reason as well as a personal one. The commission is a percentage, so the cruise that pays me most is the most expensive one on the site — and the argument I make on nearly every page is that most visitors should spend less, not more, by starting closer to the fiord. The cheapest ticket here is a terminal cruise and I recommend it constantly. If I were writing for commission, I would be writing something else.
Where a tour has a weak point, I say so: a 4.6 rating, a sample of only 31 reviews, a flight that depends on the weather. All of that is in the reviews, in the same words I would use to a friend.
